Discipline is an integral part of the learning process. For this a student has to learn self-control of his emotions and impulses. He must learn to live in harmony with others by respecting the customs and traditions of others and society, by keeping the laws of the country and by obeying the commandments of God.

Order must be the hallmark of our school. For this, an atmosphere of silence must be maintained by everyone during working hours in classrooms, staff rooms and offices. Thus, everyone should contribute to maintaining excellent standards in everything.
Cleanliness is a pre-requisite of orderliness. Therefore, all the classrooms, corridors and the campus as a whole, must reflect this in the school, which aims at bringing an atmosphere of godliness.
Students arriving on the school campus before the first bell (8.20 a.m.) have to go straight to their own classrooms and be busy with the day’s lessons, exercises or homework, in silence. They must not be seen outside their classrooms or in the playgrounds.
At the first bell, both students and teachers shall assemble in the quadrangle of the school in the class order. On dispersal, the students move to their own classrooms in perfect order, with their respective class teacher.
Pupils shall attend the class punctually with their lessons well prepared and homework satisfactorily done.
Every pupil shall respectfully greet the teachers on his/her first meeting on the school premises.
When the teacher enters the classroom, all the students stand up, greet him/her and remain standing until they are asked to sit or the teacher takes his/her seat. They shall thank the teacher when the class is over.

Students shall not leave their class rooms during or in between two periods, but remain silent and prepare for the next period. When they are taken out to the library, laboratory or playgrounds, they have to move in two lines keeping to the left side of the corridors.
No pupil shall leave his/her classroom during working hours without the permission of the teachers.
Students shall not enter any classroom other than his/her own at any time. They are expected to take care of their own belongings. They may not bring to school valuable and curious articles, books or magazines, etc., not prescribed in syllabus. They may not wear expensive jewellery.
The classrooms, corridors and school premises shall be kept neat and clean. No littering is expected. Waste paper or other waste materials must always be thrown into the waste boxes provided. They may always take care that the display boards, walls, furniture, blackboards, shelves etc., are kept neat and in order. It is the personal duty of the students to keep their classrooms absolutely clean.
The students and staff are expected to speak only in English once they enter the school campus except in language classes. Each one should endeavour to keep high the refined tone of the school by excelling in good manners and deportment.
No pupil is allowed to leave the school premises during school hours including recess without the permission of the Principal.
Pupils should be in full uniform on all working days. Pupils coming to school without full uniforms will not be allowed to sit in the class.
The handbook issued to every student at the beginning of the year is to be kept neat and tidy all through the year. It should be brought to school every day. Students are not allowed to write anything in it except in the calendar part of it. It must be safely kept throughout the year and will not be easily replaced. Once lost, a new one has to be collected from the office, but only with the special permission of the principal on the recommendation of the class teacher. It is an important document of the student’s career, conduct and studies in the school for the year, and hence is not to be replaced easily.
No monetary collection of any kind for any purpose whatsoever may be made from the students or staff without the permission of the Principal. Similarly, no meeting, party or picnic or any kind of organized school activity shall be arranged without the previous approval of the principal. Parents are earnestly requested not to make any personal gifts to staff members.
Students should see that no damage is done to school property. They should not write on or disfigure the walls, furniture and library books. Any damage caused through inadvertence or otherwise should be brought to the notice of the Principal. Those who cause damage will be liable to repair the same at their own expense or required to be made good in identical replacement. No damage should be done to the digital / LED boards fitted in the classrooms.
Any pupil who is found to have secured admission by means of a false certificate or by false representation of any kind shall be summarily dismissed with the forfeit of whatever fee he may have paid.
Inattentiveness, indifference to study, discourtesy towards any member of the staff or any act which affects the discipline and tone of the school will be seriously viewed and in extreme cases, they are sufficient reasons for dismissal from the school. Immorality, grave insubordination, contempt for authority, wilful damage to school property, malpractice in examinations, etc. are sufficient reasons for immediate dismissal.
Everyone must get acquainted with the rules and regulations of the school given in this handbook besides the timely instructions given by the authorities through public announcements or notices issued. Ignorance of rules will not be accepted as an excuse.
